William Walls |
(Scottish, 1860 -1942 ) |
Working in both oil and watercolor, Walls studied at the RSA schools, and in Antwerp. He showed mostly at the RSA and the RSW. He exhhibited sixteen paintings at the Royal Academy between 1887 and 1923. His work is characterised by a subtle use of light, with an almost impressionistic brush stroke. |
