Carl-Henrik Bogh
(Danish, 1827 -1893 )

Carl Henrik Bogh studied at the Academie des Beaux-Arts under J.L. Sund, specialising in animal painting. He first exhibited his work in 1854. He received a scholarship from the Academy in 1857 and studied, mostly in Paris, in 1860 and 1861. Th Royal Museum acquired his work in 1870 and again in 1875.
