Norton was a Sheffield landscape painter who exhibited two paintings at the British Institute in 1862: "Shades of Evening, Waiting for the Drover" and "The Random Shot". He also painted horse portraits, and other sporting subjects, working primarily for private patrons in the Midlands. |
