Strutt was a painter of genre, animals and portraits. He was a member of the Society of British Artists, as associate of the Cambrian Academy, and of the Royal Society of Painters and Etchers. He exhibited 52 paintings at the Royal Academy from 1879 to 1917 and 49 at the Suffolk Street from 1888 to 1898. |
